Berkeley

Berkeley homes in Elmwood, Claremont, and North Berkeley often have floors that are close to a century old. Some have been sanded many times, so we check the remaining wear layer before recommending a full sand or a lighter screen-and-recoat.

We use professional water-based finishes that are low in odor and dry quickly, which matters when you're living in the house during the work.

Hillside homes mean stairs, and we refinish and replace treads on everything from straight runs to winding staircases.
